It has single coil pckups similar to the strat with the addition of a keeper that increases current through the pickup coil and reduces sensitivity to hum. The jag shares the same preset circuitry found on the Jazzmaster and a trio of selector switches. It also has an indiviual on-off switch for each pickup.
