Guild guitars

Guild Guitars enjoys a prominent place in the history of the acoustic guitar. Founded in 1952 by a handful of former Epiphone employees, the company spent most of the ’60s building its distinctive guild acoustic archtop and flattop guitars in a factory building before eventually settling in Westerly, Rhode Island. Guild guitars was purchased by Fender Musical Instruments in 1995 but remained in Westerly until it was moved to the existing plant in California. Currently, Guild’s models include classic dreadnoughts such as the D40, D50, and D55; jumbos such as the JF30, F50, and F50R; 12-strings like the F412, F512, and JF30-12; acoustic-electrics such as the F47RCE, F47MCE, and D50CE; and a full line of electric archtops and solid-bodies. The company continues to develop its line of Benedetto archtops, which are also built in the Corona facility. Guild offers quality acoustic and acoustic/electric guitars for sale at the best prices on the net. You won't be disappointed!
